Episode 9 – Buddhas Behind Bars

Justin’s father, Al Albergate is a Vice General Director of SGI-USA and Vice Mens Division Zone Leader in Los Angeles. Al is active in interfaith dialog as a board member of the South Coast Interfaith Council and he’s a lecturer in Philosophy at California State University, Los Angeles. Al speaks candidly about his son’s imprisonment and his own efforts as a volunteer Chaplin, sharing Buddhism with inmates at Corcoran State Prison in California.
